Researchers measure the effects of “exergames" like Wii Sports and Dance Dance Revolution

In the August issue of Pediatrics, researchers from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center publish their findings from a small study comparing the exertion level of kids playing Dance Dance Revolution, Wii Sports and other activities. As USA Today reports, they found that playing certain Wii games are comparable to taking a brisk walk.
