Tonight’s episode of Boston Med, an ABC News documentary series on three top Boston Hospitals, will feature a family who comes to Children’s Hospital Boston after they learn their baby will be born with a complex congenital heart defect (CHD) called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS).The drama is especially high, as the baby’s father is an active duty solider serving overseas.
Fortunately, Children’s doctors have a lot of experience treating babies with complex congenital heart defects. Read about former patients like Parker Bolton, a child born with HLHS who was successfully treated here at Children’s.
