Children's staffers run for a cause

stockphotopro_60837BAN_runningHappy Patriots Day! Please join us as we root, root, root for the home team (Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays @ 11:05 am here at Fenway) and of course cheer on all the Children’s Hospital Boston friends and family who are running in the Boston Marathon today.

In keeping with tradition, several of our staffers are running for a purpose: raising $1.4 million for Children’s Hospital Boston. Please come by any of the following locations and show your support for their efforts.

  • St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley: “Children’s Way” cheering station is at St. Paul’s Church on Route 16 (502 Washington Street). This is just past the 13-mile mark. Fans will gather in front of the church at 10 a.m.; runners will pass between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Chestnut Hill: Located at the 20-mile mark on the corner of Centre St. and Commonwealth Ave. All Seasons Sports is across the street. Fans will gather at 10:30 a.m.; runners will pass between 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Bretton Realty, Brookline: “Children’s Corner” is located in front of the St. Mary’s T stop on the Green Line (C train) at 1001 Beacon Street, just a quarter mile before the 25-mile mark. Fans will gather at 11 a.m.; runners will pass between noon and 5 p.m.
